Support concerning Winding Problems

Stroke length setting too wide

Stroke lenght too short

RG 3 too weak, loss of side thrust due to torques created by the lever arm

RG slips

Pitch setting below 1 (on scale or knob)

Side thrust too low

Material guide too elastic

Line tension too high

Line tension varies or is too low

Lever arm of thread guide too long, side thrust reduced by torque

Big difference between barrel and flange diameter of bobbin

Asymmetrical installation

Pitch symmetry is misaligned

Line tension too high

Wide flat material does not reach the flange. Use singlesided control lever.

Pay attention to position of pressure screw when a RG 3 is vertically installed

Distance between RG and spool too wide

Groove of guide roller too wide

Change of stroke due to spool tolerances

Material guide system not suitable

Lateral play of material guide

Material to be wound not stress-relieved

Pitch setting below 1 (on scale or knob)
