Uhing produces the 100,000th RG3-15 Rolling Ring Drive
It likes to operate in secret, is extremely quiet and keeps its mouth shut. Nevertheless, it has made it big. - Joachim Uhing GmbH & Co KG is celebrating an anniversary with one of its most successful products.
When the one hundred thousandth model of a product series rolls off the production line in Detroit, Wolfsburg or Ingolstadt, the whole world celebrates. Why should it be any different up in northern Germany? "We northerners are known to celebrate understatement," says Uhing Managing Director Wolfgang Weber. But as the person responsible for marketing at the traditional company based in Mielkendorf near Kiel, he is happy to go public to publicise a very special anniversary. In August of this year, the one hundred thousandth Rolling Ring Drive of the RG3-15 series was completed.
