Positioning and linear movement

The correct positioning to components is important in many areas. Components, sensors, tools or materials must be brought into the correct position precisely and repeatably. This can be achieved with the help of a position measuring system or proximity switches. Our linear systems, Rolling Ring Drives, Linear Drive Nuts and timing belt drives support you in this demanding task. We deliberately differentiate ourselves from classic spindle solutions: Whether spindle, threaded spindle, spindle drive, spindle gearbox, lifting spindle, spindle lifting gearbox, ball screw or ball screw drive - these systems work with positive locking.

Uhing takes a different approach here: our drives are based on the friction rolling ring principle - without a threaded spindle, but with backlash-free, linear movement on a smooth shaft.
