Whistleblower system

Whistleblower Protection Act

The Act for Better Protection of Whistleblowers (Whistleblower Protection Act, HinSchG for short) came into force on 2 July 2023. The aim of the law is to make it easier for whistleblowers to draw attention to breaches of the law and regulations in companies and public authorities without fear of reprisals.

UHING has set up an internal reporting centre in accordance with the HinSchG. The complaints channel is available to you as a whistleblower if you have obtained information about violations within the meaning of Section 2 HinSchG in connection with your professional activities or prior to your professional activities and wish to report or disclose them. These are in particular criminal offences, fines and violations of selected federal, state and/or EU law (Section 2 (1) HinSchG).

All reports received will be treated in strict confidence and with the assurance of protection against reprisals.

Whistleblowers can contact the reporting centre at any time by email, telephone or in person: https://joachimuhinggmbhundcokg.hinweisgeberportal.de/frontpage

Please describe all the circumstances of the case as specifically as possible to enable the facts of the case to be clarified quickly and properly.

Alternatively, whistleblowers can contact the federal government's external reporting centre at the Federal Office of Justice (FOJ): https://www.bundesjustizamt.de/DE/MeldestelledesBundes/MeldestelledesBundes_node.html
